I help children turn everyday challenges into practical learning experiences, using their interests and strengths to support participation in the socciety.
I work closely with families and believe that communication and trust are an important part of the therapy process. My goal is not only to help children develop their skills and become more independent, but also to celebrate their progress along the way. I approach every session with patience, encouragement, and professionalism, creating a positive environment where children feel safe, motivated, and supported as they learn and grow.

Questions families ask
Can I stay in the room with my child?
Yes, parents can generally remain present during their child’s therapy session. Your involvement can be very helpful because it allows us to communicate about your child’s needs and gives you an opportunity to learn strategies that may also be useful at home. At the same time, we’ll pay attention to your child’s response and determine whether your presence is helping them engage or whether they may benefit from gradually working more independently.
My child gets upset with new people. How do you handle that?
That’s completely okay. Every child has their own personality, and some children simply need more time before they feel comfortable with someone new. I won’t force interaction or expect your child to trust me immediately. I’ll follow their cues, give them space when they need it, and use play and activities they enjoy to gradually build a connection. My goal is for your child to feel that therapy is a safe and positive place.
How will I know if my child is making progress?
I’ll regularly review your child’s goals and share updates with you about their development. I’ll also give you ideas for what to look for at home, such as increased independence, improved attention, better coordination, or greater comfort with activities that were previously difficult. My goal is to make sure you always understand how your child is progressing and where we’re going next.
Will you give me things to practice at home?
Yes. Home activities are often an important part of the therapy process. I’ll provide recommendations based on your child’s individual goals, abilities, and needs. I’ll also explain how to complete the activities safely and effectively, and we can discuss your child’s progress during future sessions so we can make adjustments as needed.
