About ALLYSON
I focus on providing personalized, compassionate care based on each child’s individual needs. My goal is to help children develop the skills they need to become more independent and confident in their daily activities. I use engaging, age appropriate activities to make therapy a positive and comfortable experience while allowing each child to progress at their own pace. I also value working closely with families and celebrating every step of their child’s progress.

Questions families ask
What do I do if my insurance denies the evaluation?
If your evaluation is denied by insurance, please reach out to us. We can help explain what the denial means and what steps you may be able to take next. Sometimes an insurance company needs additional information or documentation before approving a service. We’ll do our best to help you navigate the process and understand your options.
My child hasn't been diagnosed yet. Can we still come in?
Of course! A formal diagnosis is not always required to schedule an initial evaluation. If you have concerns about your child’s development, communication, movement, or daily activities, we encourage you to reach out. We can talk with you about what you’re noticing and determine what type of evaluation or support would be most appropriate.
How long does the evaluation take?
Most evaluations take approximately an hour, although some may take a little longer depending on the child and the type of evaluation being completed. We understand that every child is different, so we allow enough time to observe their skills, interact with them, and answer any questions you may have.
How soon will I get the evaluation results?
You won’t have to wait too long. We understand how important the evaluation results are to your family, so we work to finalize them as soon as possible. Once they’re ready, we’ll review the results with you, explain everything in simple terms, and discuss what we recommend as the next step for your child.
Do you have Saturday appointments?
Unfortunately, we’re not available on Saturdays at this time. We understand that weekends can be more convenient, but we’d be happy to work with you to find another day and time that fits your schedule.
